AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023: 90,000 Tickets Sold Within First 24 Hours of Second Batch Release

Within the initial 24 hours of the release of a second batch of tickets on November 19, 2023, an additional 90,000 tickets for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 have been sold. Fans from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and India accounted for the majority of ticket purchases. Notably, ticket sales were led by the match between Saudi Arabia and Oman in addition to the tournament opener between Qatar and Lebanon, taking place on January 12 at the iconic Lusail Stadium.

Ticket sales for the upcoming tournament are currently available on the official ticketing website. Fans can purchase tickets online, with group stage match tickets starting at 25 QAR. The tournament comprises 51 matches, scheduled to take place between 12 January and 10 February 2024 in various stadiums.

Qatar's stadiums are situated in close proximity to one another, with the farthest distance between any two being just 75 kilometers. This compact design offers a unique advantage, as both players and supporters can stay in a central accommodation throughout the tournament. The stadiums and cultural hubs will be linked by a state-of-the-art metro system and an efficient road network.
