Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization Classifies Katara as 'City Of Arab Novel'


During a ceremony held on Friday evening in the Tunisian capital, the Katara Cultural Village Foundation was awarded an honor by the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), designated as the "City of the Arab Novel."

This event was attended by a distinguished audience, including Prof Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager of Katara; H E Professor Dr. Mohamed Ould Omar, Director-General of the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO); HE Fahd bin Khalifa Al Attiyah, Deputy Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Tunisia, along with several esteemed ambassadors, diplomatic representatives, intellectuals, and media professionals.

During the event, the attendees viewed a documentary showcasing the Katara Cultural Village.

Prof Dr. Al Sulaiti received the certificate of classifying Katara as a city of Arab novel, along with the ALECSO shield.
