Hamad International Airport Collaborates with Cisco for Digital Transformation

Hamad International Airport (HIA) has entered into a partnership with Cisco to accelerate its digital transformation initiatives, modernize its operations, elevate customer experience, and leverage cutting-edge technologies in the aviation sector.

According to a statement released by HIA, this collaboration between Qatar Airways Group and Cisco, a global leader in networking, collaboration, and cybersecurity, is grounded on a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The partnership intends to explore synergies that are consistent with HIA's dedication to adopting cutting-edge technologies. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) also aims to strategize the development of a technology roadmap that will revolutionize the airport's customer interactions, improve safety and security measures, streamline communication channels, and optimize operational efficiency.

Senior Vice President of Technology and Innovation at HIA, Suhail Kamil Kadri, commented on the collaboration, stating, "This collaboration aligns seamlessly with our vision to set new industry benchmarks through digital innovation.
