The 13th edition of the Katara Traditional Dhow Festival is set to commence today at 3:30pm on Katara Beach, with activities scheduled to continue until December 2.
This year's program boasts a rich and diverse lineup, featuring participants from twelve countries, including Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of Iraq, Palestine, Portugal, Iran, Tanzania, and India.
The event will feature a diverse range of artistic and cultural activities in addition to the traditional marine competitions held on Katara Beach No. 2. The traditional rowing competition is scheduled for 3:30 pm on December 1, while the traditional sailing competition will be held in December.
