On November 1st, a Qatar Airways Airbus A320 flight from Doha successfully landed at Ras Al Khaiman International Airport, marking the return of services to one of the world's most extensive airline networks. Given that the flight is only one hour long from Qatar Airways' Doha hub at Hamad International Airport, passengers can now easily access Ras Al Khaimah.
In line with Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority's (RAKTDA) objective to bolster global connectivity to the Emirate, partnering with Qatar Airways will reinforce international travel to Ras Al Khaimah. With over 160 destinations to choose from, including one-stop connections from numerous European cities, Qatar Airways' far-reaching global network will provide more options, flexibility, and opportunities for international travelers who seek to explore the natural wonders of Ras Al Khaimah. This collaboration will prove instrumental in attracting visitors from the Emirate's key source markets.
"After announcing the partnership between Qatar Airways and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport at ITB, Berlin's premier travel and Tourism exhibition, back in March this year, we were delighted to see the commencing of operations to the emirate today. This partnership marks an important step in driving Ras Al Khaimah's continued growth as a destination of the future," commented Raki Phillips, Chief Executive Officer of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.
