Qatar International Art Festival from November 20 to 25 at Expo 2023 Doha


The fifth edition of the Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF) is scheduled for November 20th to 25th, hosted at the Cultural Zone of Expo 2023 Doha, situated in Al Bidda Park. The theme for this year's festival is "The Environment and Sustainability. The QIAF, recognized as one of the most significant art festivals in the nation, will showcase a broad spectrum of creative expressions.

The festival boasts a diverse array of artistic expression, featuring 12 distinct events for visitors to enjoy. These include exhibitions of painting and sculpture, the Youth International Art Exhibition, a cultural tour of Qatar, an art panel talk show, an art conference, masterclasses, creative art workshops, live painting demonstrations, a sustainable and artistic fashion show, a cultural musical evening, networking dinners, and an awards night.

In a message, Head of QIAF and founder and President of The MAPS International WLL, Rashmi Agarwal, said: "QIAF is not just an art festival, it is an emotion. It welcomes and connects the artists worldwide at this fine festival having more than 300 artists from over 65 countries along with Galleries." The festival will showcase a variety of masterclasses, which are poised to be among the highlights of the event. These eight sessions will cover an array of topics, such as unique techniques, technology in art, artificial intelligence in art, color therapy, musical rhythm in art, skills enhancement for participants, knowledge imparting, audio-video documentary, and digital art.
