The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued a warning of strong northwesterly winds along the in-shore and offshore areas starting on Tuesday, 28 November 2023, and continuing until the end of the week. The accompanying weather forecast predicts a drop in temperature, particularly in the southern and external regions of Qatar.
During this period, a marine warning is in place with wave heights reaching 5 - 9 feet and may reach 12 feet. According to the Qatar Meteorology Department, it's recommended to refrain from engaging in any marine activities during this period.
