On 14 November, 2023, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' official spokesperson emphasized the need for global collaboration to facilitate mediation efforts in Gaza. Furthermore, an immediate ceasefire is imperative to alleviate human suffering and support the region towards lasting peace.
"Unless we work as an international community together to make sure there is an active and viable mediation between both sides, the expectations (are) that we will see only more atrocities and Worsening humanitarian situation," said official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari.
During a media briefing, he condemned the bombing of the Oatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza headquarters by Israeli occupation forces as an "blatant violation of international law.
He urged the international community to take swift action in holding Israel responsible for their repeated transgressions against civilians and civilian infrastructure and to compel them to adhere to international laws.
