The General Directorate of Traffic has made a public announcement stating that license plates featuring the Expo 2023 Doha logo are now available.
As per the recent announcement, the license plates will be available for purchase starting tomorrow, November 16, 2023. Proper guidelines will be provided for installation. Those interested in acquiring a license plate may do so by paying prescribed fee.
As per the Ministry of Interior's announcement, the newly introduced license plate is optional and can be registered with ease by any interested motorist, including those registering their vehicles for the first time.
The Ministry has specified that the logo is solely available for use on private license plates.
The Ministry further warned that "counterfeiting and installing the logo are strictly prohibited and violators may face legal consequences."
