The 44th Gulf Summit recently held in Doha witnessed the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s issuance of the concluding statement which demonstrated the council’s support for the Palestinian people and condemned the aggressive acts carried out against Gaza.
The council urged the international community to halt the war on Gaza and praised Qatar's efforts, in partnership with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America, attaining a humanitarian pause to relieve the dire humanitarian situations in the region, to release detainees, allow more humanitarian aid convoys, including fuel and other for essentials.
In the concluding statement of the Doha Summit, the council extended congratulations to the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, for assuming the presidency of the current session.
