Doha, Qatar: On December 11, The General Directorate of Traffic announced that it will release new significant numbers on the Sooum App starting from 18 December, 2023.
The Sooum app's 'show interest' window will allow people to bid for the number plates. Those who are Interested can select a number, pay a deposit, and wait for a specified time.
If one person shows interest, the number will be sold at the quoted price and if more than one person chose a specific number plate then "an internal bidding will be held between those interested.'
