'Captain of the World' Docu-series on Qatar 2022 World Cup to Premier on Netflix


Netflix recently released a trailer for its forthcoming docu-series, 'Captains of the World,' which provides an exclusive glimpse into the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022. Created in collaboration with FIFA+ and produced by Fulwell 73, the six-part series features unprecedented, behind-the-scenes footage captured during the tournament held across multiple stadiums in Qatar.

The trailer showcases memorable moments from various football games, providing glimpses into exclusive interviews with the captains of several participating national teams. The video features notable football figures such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, Luka Modric, Kalidou Koulibaly, Gareth Bale, Simon Kjar, and others, who share valuable insights. Among them, Messi emphasizes the team's determination to fight in what he describes as a "tough World Cup," while Ronaldo underscores the universal desire to win.

The docu-series is set to premiere on Netflix on December 30.
