Expo 2023 Doha Celebrates UAE National Day


Expo 2023 Doha observed the 52nd Union Day of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) yesterday. The ceremony was graced by the presence of H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, the Minister of Culture, and HE Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of UAE, alongside several ministers, officials, and diplomatic mission leaders.

During the event, Al Kaabi conveyed her pride and appreciation in commemorating over fifty years of unity, progress, and innovation for the UAE at Expo 2023 Doha. She extended her congratulations to Qatar for hosting this international event, a tradition that has been upheld since 1971.

The UAE Minister of State conveyed her appreciation to the Organizing Committee of Expo 2023 Doha and the partners from the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) and the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE). The Minister acknowledged their efforts in conducting a prosperous horticultural exhibition that united brilliant minds and innovative ideas to establish a more sustainable future for all.

She said, "The UAE pavilion, which is held under the slogan Legacy and Impact, highlights our country's sustainable journey, its rich agricultural heritage, and our close relationship with our land and environment, which is not a new relationship, but rather authentic and well-established in the UAE society."
