On Monday, at Katara, the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara launched the "Flowers of My Country" Exhibition. The event was attended by numerous ambassadors, diplomatic representatives to the State of Qatar, professionals in the fields of environment, fine art, and media.
The exhibition, displaying the artworks of Dania Tariq, an artist with hearing impairment, along with 29 artworks of flowers from Qatar's natural habitat, will be on display at building 18 of Katara until January 3rd.
The exhibition highlights the psychological aspect of the Artist Dania as she is one of the people with hearing impairment, Al Saeed added, pointing out that Dania has succeeded in drawing flowers that depicted the local environment to familiarize the public of these artworks and translate her feelings into reality that she loves flowers very much.
