The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani directed the treatment of 1,500 wounded people and the sponsorship of 3,000 orphans from the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip on Sunday. Qatar will oversee the transfer of the wounded and their companions, in collaboration with the Arab Republic of Egypt, to designated hospitals for treatment. This initiative is a continuation of Qatar's unwavering support and ongoing efforts to mitigate the struggles of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, particularly amidst their current challenging humanitarian circumstances.
In response to the recent outbreak of aggression on the Gaza Strip, Qatar has delivered a substantial amount of assistance, including 1,203 tons of food, medical, and shelter supplies, in addition to a field hospital and ambulances, via 36 flights.
According to a report from QNA, Qatar has successfully evacuated 89 Palestinians, who held residency in Qatar, from the Gaza Strip. The evacuation was executed through the city of Al-Arish using a plane owned by the Qatari Armed Forces, in coordination with Egypt. This effort falls under Qatar's humanitarian initiatives in Gaza, aimed at safeguarding the welfare of civilians and providing them with required support. The initiative also includes the relocation of Qatari residents stranded in the Gaza Strip.
