During the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) held today at Expo City Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, HE Rishi Sunak.
The meeting entailed reviewing the relations between the two countries, encompassing their development across various fields, such as politics, economics, and commerce. Additionally, the discussion revolved around noteworthy topics on the summit's agenda, along with both countries' efforts to combat climate change.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency (HE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim A-Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister, and several other dignitaries who accompanied His Highness (HH) the Amir. Also in attendance were distinguished ministers and high-ranking officials representing the British delegation.
