Iraqi Pavilion Inaugurated at Expo 2023 Doha


The Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al Aboudi, and the Expo 2023 Doha Commissioner General, Ambassador Bader bin Omar Al Dafa, jointly inaugurated the Iraqi pavilion located in the international zone of the Expo 2023 Doha.

The event was attended by esteemed heads of diplomatic missions and ambassadors who are accredited to the country, government officials, and individuals with a vested interest in environmental affairs. The Iraqi pavilion is a valuable addition to the global exhibition, highlighting the country's artistic culture and innovations. 

During the event, Dr. Naeem Al Aboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq, conveyed his delight in participating in Expo 2023 Doha. Being the first-ever international exposition held in a desert country, he anticipates an unparalleled and distinguished edition, as is the norm in Qatar. According to Al Aboudi, Iraqi institutions place significant importance on climate change and implement a comprehensive approach in alignment with global initiatives.
