Israeli military aircraft, artillery, and naval vessels have resumed bombing various locations in the Gaza Strip after a humanitarian pause that lasted a week ended on Friday morning, December 1, 2023.
A dense gray smoke cloud resulting from airstrikes lingered over Gaza. According to authorities, at least 178 Palestinians were killed, and almost 600 were injured on the first day of Israel's bombing.
