The aviation industry has witnessed a significant increase in flight frequency, passenger traffic, air cargo, and mail. Notably, November 2023 witnessed a considerable surge in all three categories compared to the corresponding period in the previous year.
As per the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, aircraft movements in the country increased by 7% last month as compared to November 2022. The Authority recently shared its latest Preliminary Airport Transport Statistics on X, which revealed noteworthy figures for November 2023. Qatar reported 20,746 flight movements in November 2022, while this year during the same month 22,195 aircraft movements were registered.
According to official reports, the number of air travellers in November 2023 increased by 23.2 percent, with a total of 3.9 million passengers recorded compared to the same period in the previous year. In contrast, Qatar reported 3.2 million passengers during the same timeframe last year.
