Doha, Qatar: The region’s first International Horticultural Exhibition, the Expo 2023 Doha has reached a milestone of 2.5 million visitors.
Mohammed Al Khouri, Secretary General of Expo 2023 Doha, said “We reached the peak in terms of attracting a huge number of visitors due to pleasant weather.”
“We are expecting, in the second half, growing number of visitors during the last three months due to pleasant weather and winter vacations,” he added.
According to him, Expo 2023 Doha offers visitors an opportunity to delve into various cultures and experiences exhibited by participating countries' pavilions, particularly in the fields of agriculture and the environment.
Speaking to Qatar Radio recently, he said that the event targeted to receive 3 million visitors, and so far seen 2.5 million people.
The international event began at Al Bidda Park, Qatar on October 2, 2023, and will run until March 28, 2024.
