International Horticulture Expo 2023 Doha Hosts Saudi Day

In the presence of His Excellency, the Minister of Municipality and Chairman of the National Committee for hosting the 2023 Horticultural Expo in Doha, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, the International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha Qatar hosted the Saudi Day last Saturday, attended by several dignitaries, including heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the State of Qatar and other senior officials.

The Saudi Day was celebrated with a range of artistic and heritage shows, followed by a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pavilion to experience their unique offerings at the expo.

HE Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in Saudi Arabia, Mansour bin Hilal Al Mushaiti, highlighted in remarks the significant strides the kingdom has made in achieving sustainability and conserving natural resources. These achievements include ensuring water security, enhancing quality of life, achieving food security, and increasing self-sufficiency rates in numerous agricultural crops and products. Additionally, the kingdom has adopted several initiatives to depend on clean energy, reduce carbon emissions, increase green spaces, and implement sustainable waste management practices.


Sale bin Abdul Mohsen bin Dakhil, the General Supervisor of the Kingdoms, lauded the exceptional hospitality and organization of the expo. He acknowledged the commendable efforts of the organizing committee to foster cultural and civilizational exchange among people and create a favorable ambiance to hold this significant global festival.
