Doha, Qatar: 24 January 2024, Wednesday, Criminal Investigation Department arrested a man of Asian descent engaging in unauthorised currency exchange operations.
After conducting thorough search and investigative operations, the suspect was apprehended while receiving payment in local currency in exchange for a specific Asian currency.
After being interrogated, the suspect confessed to the alleged crime. In addition, evidence such as financial receipts and cash were discovered in their possession.
The accused and the seized items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities to initiate legal procedures related to the case.
