The official media center, designated for the coverage of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, has inaugurated on Friday in Msheireb Downtown Doha. The tournament is scheduled to take place from January 12 to February 10, 2024. The establishment of the center aligns with the Organizing Committee's initiatives for the 18th edition of the Asian Cup Qatar 2023. Its aim is to provide comprehensive technical support to media personnel, such as reporters, broadcasters, and photographers, to fulfill their obligation of covering the tournament and related events.
The media center will be open daily from 10 am to 11 pm, states an official from the local organising committee.
The center encompasses multiple facilities, among them a press conference hall designated to host technical conferences for the teams' coaches before their respective matches. The opening match conference, featuring Qatar and Lebanon, will take place on January 11 at 11 am.
All offices at the center are equipped with internet access, and computers are available for media usage. Additionally, the IT department provides on-site technical support, assistance, and solutions.
Apart from technical assistance, photographers can avail themselves of various services that the venue provides. These include a press conference room, broadcast studios, a media representative office, work studios, and lounges.
The center's decor prominently features the tournament's logo, flags of participating teams, Qatar's host country flag, and designs featuring the tournament's mascot family.
