Team Palestine arrived in Doha to participate in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 . The tournament is scheduled to run from January 12 to February 10, 2024. The team will participate in Group C with UAE, Iran, and Hong Kong.
Palestinian team will begin its Asian Cup journey by facing Iran on 14 January. The team will then compete against the UAE on 18 January. They will be having a match against Hong Kong at the end of the group stage, which is scheduled for 23 January. The team is also planning to play a friendly match against the Saudi Arabia football team on 9 January.
The Palestinian team appeared in the Asian Cup for the first time in the year 2015, when the match was conducted in Australia. It is their third time in the Asian Cup.
