Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality, through a series of posts on their social media accounts, provides awareness to the people in living Qatar on a number of rules under the Public Cleanliness Law, as well as the penalties that its violation leads to.
➤Abandoning vehicles in public fields, roads, or parking areas is a legal offence that can result in a penalty of up to QR 25,000.
➤ Another post has highlighted the issue of littering in public places, including squares, roads, and streets. It's critical to note that such behaviour can result in a fine of QR 10,000.

➤ In a third post, it was mentioned throwing or disposing of waste in places other than those specified by the competent municipality could be considered a violation punishable by law, with penalty of up to QR 25,000.
