Qatar, Doha: The International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha organizing committee declared that over 200 sporting events and activities will be held at Al Bidda Park to mark National Sports Day on 13 February 2024.
The committee strongly encourages all citizens and residents to engage in a diverse range of activities throughout the upcoming occasion, tailored to suit all age groups.
One of the primary objectives of Expo 2023 Doha is to prioritize sports by organizing various sporting events to promote sustainability. Since the Expo's launch four months ago, there have been several sporting events and races held in conjunction with the Qatar Sports For All Federation, in addition to numerous other events.
In coordination with a significant number of public parks, the Ministry of Sports and Youth is collaborating with the federation to organize a 365-Day Activity Program.
The initiative emphasizes the practice of sports within green zones, furthering the Expo's goals.
The Family Zone offers a broad spectrum of sporting activities, including bow and arrow shooting, Muay Thai, Speedball, Telematch games, and fitness classes.
The event aims to spread awareness of the importance of practicing sports across all age groups.
