Ongoing 2023/2024 Cruise Season in Qatar to Conclude in April


Doha, Qatar: The ongoing 2023/2024 cruise season in Qatar, which commenced last year, is nearing its conclusion this April with the arrival of five additional ships at Doha's Grand Cruise Terminal situated at the Old Doha Port. 

The latest vessel to berth at the port was MS Hamburg, which made its debut visit to Qatar on March 10, carrying 263 passengers and 145 crew members. Operated by Plantours Cruises and registered in the Bahamas, MS Hamburg spans 144 meters in length and 21.5 meters in width, accommodating 400 passengers and a crew of 170 members.

MSC Virtuosa, a Meraviglia-Plus-class cruise ship owned and operated by MSC Cruises is scheduled to dock at the Grand Cruise Terminal on March 31.

Following closely on April 1, the luxurious Seabourn Encore will grace the terminal.

Also arriving on April 1 is AIDAprima, operated by AIDA Cruises under the Italian flag. 

Concluding the season, the British transatlantic ocean liner Queen Mary 2 is scheduled to dock on April 5, followed by Artania on April 25.
