Indonesia: Indonesia's Ruang volcano erupted, and thousands were evacuated over Tsunami threat.

Mount Ruang erupted multiple times on Tuesday, 30 April 2024. Thousands of individuals were instructed to evacuate due to tsunami threat.

Ruang, situated in the North Sulawesi province of Indonesia, erupted at approximately 01:15 am local time on Tuesday (1715 GMT Monday) and two additional eruptions later that morning, as reported by the volcanology agency.
