Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf), through the Mosque Administration, recently unveiled a new grand mosque in the Rawdat Al-Hamamah district. With a capacity to accommodate 575 worshippers, the mosque is situated on a total area spanning 4,453 square meters.
This inauguration aligns with the ministry's strategic initiative to enhance and modernize mosques across the country, adapting to urban expansion and population growth in accordance with the national vision for 2030.
Identified as Mosque Number (MS) 1392, the mosque boasts a central prayer hall catering to 500 male worshippers and a separate hall for 75 female worshippers. It also offers ample ablution facilities, a significant number of public parking spaces - inclusive of designated spaces for individuals with special needs - structured entrances and exits, a towering minaret, two distinct imam residences, and a muezzin's residence.
