The helicopter of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi caught fire shortly after colliding with a mountain, with no indications of external interference, as reported by state media referencing the findings of the military's crash investigators. The official statement from the general staff of the armed forces in charge of investigating the incident was broadcast on state television late Thursday. While the initial release refrained from assigning blame, it assured that additional information would be disclosed following a comprehensive inquiry.

Tragically, the crash on Sunday took the lives of Raisi, the nation's foreign minister, and six others. The general staff's report highlighted that the pre-crash communications between the helicopter and the control tower showed no anomalies. The final interaction recorded was with two accompanying helicopters approximately 90 seconds before the tragic event. Notably, there was no evidence of hostile actions towards the helicopter, and its trajectory remained consistent throughout its flight path, according to the official statement.
