Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi died in Helicopter Crash


Ebrahim Raisi, the eighth President of Iran, tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash that happened in the Varzaqan region of the northwest province of East Azarbaijan on Sunday. 

The wreckage of the helicopter, carrying President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, and six other individuals, was discovered early on Monday following an extensive search conducted overnight amid challenging situations. 

Reports from state media indicated that the U.S.-manufactured Bell 212 helicopter had crashed into a mountain peak. The official cause of the incident remains undisclosed. 

Tragically, the casualties included the Governor of East Azerbaijan Province and a distinguished imam from Tabriz city.
