Doha, Qatar: Qatar has declared a donation of USD 75 million to bolster humanitarian initiatives aiding the Syrian populace, adding to its previous contributions over recent years.
This announcement was made during Qatar's address by Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, at the Syria donors conference in Brussels, Belgium, on May 27, 2024.
The Minister expressed optimism that the conference would yield substantial financial commitments, emphasizing the importance of not allowing the multitude of ongoing humanitarian crises to diminish support for Syria.
