Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has issued a marine advisory starting from May 27 for the entirety of this week, citing the forecast of intense winds and elevated sea levels.
Anticipated sea wave heights are set to fluctuate between 4 to 7 feet, potentially peaking at 11 feet.
In light of these weather projections, the QMD strongly recommends the public abstain from participating in any marine-related activities such as swimming, boating, scuba diving, free diving, surfing, fishing excursions, and windsurfing.
