Doha, Qatar: The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland has released the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2024, ranking Qatar 11th out of 67 countries, most of which are developed countries, an improvement from 12th place last year.
Qatar excelled in key areas including economic performance (4th), government efficiency (7th), business efficiency (11th), and infrastructure (33rd).
This evaluation was based on comprehensive local data and indicators, alongside feedback from a survey of business managers and entrepreneurs regarding Qatar's business environment and economic competitiveness, while also comparing this information with data from other countries under review.
