Qatar Airways touched down for the first time in Kinshasa, opening a new gateway in Africa, connecting the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) with Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The first flight from Doha to Kinshasa landed at N’djili International Airport on Saturday, June 1, 2024, expanding the airline's African destinations to 29. This new route will enhance Kinshasa's global connectivity through Qatar Airways' hub at Hamad International Airport in Doha.

Moreover, this strategic initiative will enhance air travel connections across Africa, fostering stronger economic, business, and cultural bonds.
