Doha, Qatar: Doha has secured the fourth spot as the most liveable city in the MENA region, according to the Economist Intelligence Unit's Global Liveability Index 2024.
Doha, the capital city of Qatar, renowned for its safety, architecture, quality of life, infrastructure, healthcare, and education, stands out as one of the most attractive cities globally for living.
Using 30 indicators across five categories such as stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure, the ranking assesses 173 cities worldwide.
Vienna claimed the top spot in the Global Liveability Index with a score of 98.4. Copenhagen followed closely with a score of 98, and Zurich secured a score of 97.1.
Among the 173 cities surveyed, Damascus in Syria (30.7) ranked as the least livable city.
