Beach Volleyball duo of Qatar, Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, entered the quarter-finals by showcasing an outstanding competition at Paris 2024 Olympics.
Their impressive display led to a convincing 21-14, 21-13 victory over Chilean cousins Marco and Esteban Grimalt in the Round of 16.
The Qatari team encountered minimal resistance from the former Pan American and South American champions during the 38-minute match, resulting in the most significant winning margin in the Round of 16 matches.
Younousse and Ahmed are scheduled to compete against Miles Partain and Andy Benesh from the United States in the quarter-final match on Wednesday.
