Saudi Arabia is set to enhance access to the historic Cave of Hira with the introduction of a new cable car system projected to be up and running by 2025.
The historically significant Cave of Hira, situated on Makkah's Jabal Al Noor, is where Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) first received the divine revelation of the Holy Quran.
The upcoming cable car project is designed to make this 634-meter-high cave more easily reachable, located around four kilometers away from the Grand Mosque, catering to pilgrims and tourists.
