A tragic incident occurred yesterday in north-central Nigeria resulted in the loss of over 48 lives due to a fuel tanker truck explosion following a collision with another vehicle.
The disaster management agency in Niger state reported that the fuel truck collided with a vehicle carrying passengers and cattle, causing other vehicles also to get involved in the accident.
Hussaini Ibrahim, the agency's spokesperson, verified the death toll and underscored the gravity of this devastating event.
