Funeral Held for Turkish-American Activist Killed by Israeli occupation forces in West Bank


On Saturday, hundreds of mourners gathered in Didim, a coastal city in Turkey, to honour Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, the Turkish-American activist who was tragically killed in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

Those who gathered for the funeral were waving both Turkish and Palestinian flags, highlighting the profound emotions surrounding her passing.


Among the distinguished attendees were Turkey's Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus, and the leader of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), Ozgur Ozel.
