The Health Minister of Lebanon, Firass Abiad, has declared that the death toll from the deadly Israeli airstrikes on Monday in Lebanon has risen to a shocking number of 274. The attacks have resulted in 1,024 individuals being injured.
In a statement to the press, the minister confirmed these figures, highlighting the severity of the humanitarian crisis: "274 dead including 21 children and 39 women, that's who we know about until now.”
"Thousands of families from the targeted areas have been displaced,” he added.
The casualties include two rescuers, while 16 other emergency personnel sustained injuries during the attacks.
