Ministry of Labour Detects 368 Violations of Outdoor Summer Work Ban

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour’s Occupational Safety and Health Department has identified 368 violations of the midday outdoor work ban implemented during the summer months.

Inspections carried out from June 1 to September 15 were designed to ensure compliance with regulations aimed at protecting workers from heat-related stress.

Annually, the Ministry enforces a prohibition on outdoor work during the hottest hours of the day, specifically from 10 AM to 3:30 PM, in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. 17 of 2021.

This initiative underscores the government's commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of workers subjected to extreme heat conditions.
