Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has sent 58,000 food baskets to Namibia, as part of its ongoing support.
Weighing 1,745 tons, the aid is transported by a maritime vessel from Mersin Port in Turkiye, expected to arrive in 5 to 6 weeks.
The shipment includes essential food supplies for areas affected by desertification.
Once delivered, the total will amount to 63,500 baskets, weighing around 1,925 tons.
