Doha, Qatar: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be hazy and hot, with a chance of local thundery rain by noon.
Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected thunder rain associated with strong wind and poor visibility at places.
Offshore, conditions will also be hazy with occasional clouds. Inshore winds will shift from variable to northwesterly/northeasterly at 5-15 KT, potentially reaching 30 KT with thundery rain.
Offshore winds will similarly be 5-15 KT. Sea states will be 1-3 feet inshore and 2-4 feet offshore. Visibility will range from 4-8 km inshore, dropping to 2 km or less in thundery rain, while offshore visibility will be 4-10 km.
