Expat residents in GCC countries can now apply for a 30-day e-visa to enter the UAE, as announced by the UAE Digital Government.
This visa is available to expats with a valid residency of at least one year and allows a 30-day stay, extendable for another 30 days.
Entry conditions include having a valid residence visa and a passport with at least six months of validity.
The e-visa must be obtained before travel and can be applied for through the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners or through the smart channels of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP).
