Qatar: The 16th Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival (Marmi 2025) begins today in Sealine and will run until February 1, 2025.
Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani and supported by the Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM), the festival aims to celebrate the legacy of falconry, recognized by UNESCO as part of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
The event will kick off with the Haddad Al Tahaddi contest for young falcons, where they will chase a released racing pigeon.
