Doh, Qatar: Qatar has been ranked as the safest country in the Middle East and the eighth safest in the world for expats in 2025, according to a report by Expatriate Group.
This report analyzed data from 128 countries using the Global Peace Index for political stability, the Crime Rate Index for crime levels, and the risk of natural disasters.
Qatar is notably one of only two countries outside of Europe in the top ten safest countries ranking, alongside Singapore.
