Doha, Qatar: The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) has been nominated for the title of Most Significant Building of the 21st Century by Dezeen, a prominent architecture and design magazine.
This contest features buildings highlighted in Dezeen's "21st-Century Architecture: 25 Years 25 Buildings" series, which showcases one notable building each year for the past 25 years. Voting is currently open on the magazine's website.
MIA is competing alongside renowned structures like the Tate Modern, Moriyama House, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Burj Khalifa, and Bosco Verticale.
The winner will be announced later this year.
