Qatar Launches Air Bridge from Jordan to Gaza to Address Humanitarian Needs

Doha, Qatar: Qatar has initiated an air bridge from King Abdullah II Air Base in Jordan to Al Qarara in Gaza to meet the urgent humanitarian and medical needs of the population. This effort follows a previously established land bridge. The launch event included prominent officials such as Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad and other representatives from various Qatari organizations.

The Minister of State for International Cooperation attended the signing of an agreement between Qatar Charity and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) to facilitate the entry of Qatari humanitarian aid into Jordan. This agreement ensures the secure transportation and distribution of aid. Since the truce began, Qatar has sent 65 relief trucks through the Jordanian border, along with two helicopter flights carrying essential medical aid to North Khan Yunis. Additionally, Qatar has provided 20,000 tents, which are being delivered to northern Gaza in cooperation with JHCO.
