Team Qatar officially qualifies for FIBA Asia Cup 2025

Qatar has officially qualified for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 after a 92-71 victory over Kazakhstan, ending an eight-year absence from the tournament. 

They took control early in the game, with star guard Mike Lewis scoring 19 points. Tyler Harris and Ndoye Seydou contributed 14 points each, while Moustafa Fouda added 14 points and 6 assists. 

This win marks Qatar's third consecutive victory in the Asia Cup Qualifiers, improving their record to 3-2 in Group E. They can wrap up their campaign with another win against India on February 24. Kazakhstan, now at 2-3, must beat Iran to remain in contention.
